Sales Executive
About the Role
Managed infrastructure is harder to sell than SaaS — you're selling expertise and trust, not a free trial. Our Sales Executive owns new business acquisition: inbound qualification, outbound prospecting, and consultative deals with SMBs and startups across the US and India. If you've only sold with a script, this isn't the role.
This is an AI-first team. At ZenoCloud, every role uses AI tools daily. In sales, that means AI-powered prospect research, automated lead enrichment, and personalised outreach generated by Claude. You'll sell smarter, not harder.
What You'll Do
- Qualify and close inbound leads from the website and partner channels
- Run outbound prospecting to agencies, e-commerce companies, and startups
- Own deals end-to-end: discovery, proposal, negotiation, close
- Maintain pipeline in CRM with honest forecasting — no wishful thinking
- Work with engineering to scope custom proposals
- Feed back market signals to product and marketing
- Use AI-powered tools for prospect research, lead enrichment, and personalised outreach — we're building these tools in-house and you'll be one of the first to use them
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in B2B sales — services experience strongly preferred over pure SaaS
- You can explain what a managed server is to a non-technical founder
- You qualify hard and move on quickly — you don't chase cold leads for months
- You write well. Proposals, emails, follow-ups — all yours.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting, AWS, or web infrastructure is a genuine advantage
- Open to using AI tools in your sales workflow — for research, prep, and follow-up. We'll train you on our stack.
