NVIDIA L40S GPU capacity in India.
Monthly L40S capacity for inference, fine-tuning, image generation, rendering and visual workloads that fit within 48GB per card.
- Monthly price
- One allocated L40S GPU card for one month.
- System details
- Exact variant, card count, host CPU, RAM, storage, network, location and topology.
48GB does not remove runtime limits.
Weights are only part of the memory budget. Context, batch, activations, KV cache and application overhead still decide whether the workload fits.
Is L40S better than L4 for inference?
It can be when the workload needs more than 24GB or benefits from the larger L40S resource envelope. Test the same model, precision, context, batch and concurrency target.
Does L40S support NVLink or MIG?
No. NVIDIA lists NVLink and MIG as unsupported on L40S. Multi-GPU software must work without assuming those features.
Can L40S run rendering and visual AI workloads?
Yes, subject to the quoted driver, application support, remote-display path, host storage and licensing required by the actual workflow.
Does adding a second L40S create one 96GB memory pool?
No. Two cards remain separate memory devices unless the application explicitly partitions and coordinates the workload across them.
